ProGrass Specifications

Exclusive to Tree-Locate is our new brand of artificial grass, Pro Grass. Initially available in three grades, each with its own special application, these hardwearing products, initially designed for sporting uses are increasingly being used in leisure areas, whether it be roof garden or a lawn. These are incredibly flexible
products and very easy to use and install.

Pro Grass always stays green and lush
In fact it stays green no matter how hot, dry or sunny it is because it has been UV treated. Guaranteed for 6yrs, it will also not rot... even in our climate, and it drains at up to 40 Gallons per hour.

Pro Grass is easy to install
Each application varies but most leisure installations are simple. For balcony or roof gardens the grass can be laid directly onto the existing surface. The grass can be cut using a sharp Stanley knife. For general installation the following guide lines should be followed.

1. Remove mud, existing turf and make level. (Pro Grass can be laid over humps, hills etc if required.)
2. Level with a crushed aggregate 25mm or similar, compact and dress with finer dust, sand or aggregate.
3. Fit Pro Grass to surface use joining tape if necessary and cut to desired shape.
4. Brush in dry Silica sand (against direction of pile) using shift broom. This not only gives the grass weight to keep it firmly in place, but stands the pile upright to give it the realistic look.

Pro Grass is virtually maintenance free
No watering, cutting or weeding. Like the real thing leaves and debris will fall on the surface. These can be raked or blown off. Occasionally a refill of Silica sand may be re applied. Pets and dog mess can be lifted and hosed clean.
